Nature’s Fury or Human Negligence : What is it in Himachal Pradesh? : For the past few days, we have seen number of natural incidents growing at a rapid pace. On 13 Sep, 2015 three laborers trapped in accident at under construction tunnel on Kiratpur Nerchowk expressway in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh and now again the news we have been watching about the youth who got trapped under debris in Sirmour district of the state.

The question here arises – Is it the man himself who is facing all such repercussions because of his own follies or the Nature is alarming each one of us from our slumber for hurting her ruthlessly to attain one’s means. Though we all are aware about the fact that man influences environment and environment influences man. With the growing population the numbers of these pathetic cases are giving a rise to human downfall.

These tragedies are happening because of the man’s own selfish nature towards their desires and needs. In order to get their desires fulfilled they are desperate to exploit anything at any cost especially those aspects which belongs to Nature. Taking an instance here, in order to elevate the road accessibility, Government is cutting down the hills and getting their work done: no doubt the government is doing the work for the welfare but the curb on the over cutting of trees should be laid down.

On the other hand, Government is taking wider steps to acquaint the people with the dire need of having maximum no. of trees on the roadside for the better survival. The sad state is at nature’s expense people are lavishly spending their lives but the result is all the more harmful. To build shelter for ourselves we are making the nature’s most close devotees homeless i.e. the birds. In a nutshell, one can say if one is going through the pathetic condition like this then man himself is responsible here not the Nature.
